Production Assistant -Content (Remote -Based in Mexico)

Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Production Assistant, Content with a team-player spirit, to join our remote team. This position will be instrumental in ensuring the day-to-day operational needs of our event content production are met, and the right candidate will be very agile and contribute creatively to the success of our events. They will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a start-up tech environment. 


Please note: This is a remote, Mexico-based 40 hr/week contract position that requires working hours from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Responsibilities: 

  • Event experience conceptualizing and adding/developing elements to ensure storytelling fundamentals and CP requests are incorporated

  • Scriptwriting and editing

  • Event content review

  • Working with NPOs to assist with event execution i.e. experience content recommendations and tech support

  • Connecting the “content dots” at event level:  Ensuring the Experience fits within the variables at event level i.e. location, audience, etc. 

  • Assisting with day-to-day event preparation and host onboarding as needed

  • Fill in for Virtual Technical Producers as needed

  • Support with large-scale event planning

  • Perform additional duties as necessary as the role evolves 



Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of live event production experience

  • 2+ years of project management experience 

  • Strong editorial skills

  • Understanding of event rundowns 

  • Must have a strong understanding of how to bring a story to life to reach an audience in a deep and impactful way

  • Proficient at scripting and creative writing

  • Mastery of the English language.  

  • Multilingual a plus

  • Proficient with Google Suite

  • Video Recording and Editing capabilities are a plus

  • Great at multitasking

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
