Visit.org is looking for an intelligent, ambitious Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team remotely. Assist development team with all aspects of software design and coding
Write and maintain code
Work on minor bug fixes
Write automation tests using RSpec and Cypress
Monitor the technical performance of internal systems
Respond to requests from the product team
5+ years of direct work experience on software development with Ruby on Rails
3+ years of web application development experience
Strong experience with Postgres or other databases
Experience with CSS
Experience with a popular server technology like Heroku or AWS
Experience with Agile software engineering processes and methodologies
A fast learner and self-starter. Be able to come up to speed on new applications and technology in a very short amount of time
Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High degree of self-motivation; must be able to plan and execute work both independently and as a team member
Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks at once
Advanced level of English
