Event Coordinator (Based in US - Remote) (Remote)

Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Event Coordinator to join our team remotely. The Event Coordinator will own the daily communications between external organizations and internal stakeholders as it relates to booking and coordinating events. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder. The Event Coordinator will manage event booking requests from our corporate partners and work with our nonprofit and social venture partners to confirm event details. 


Please note: We are looking for someone who can commit to one of the following shifts regularly:

  • 9am - 6pm EST/8am - 5pm CDT

  • 11am - 8pm EST/8am - 5pm PDT

Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate all event booking requests from corporate partners and the account management team

  • Manage daily communications with nonprofit organizations to confirm booking details

  • Coordinate event timing details and changes with the internal Visit.org team

  • Become an internal expert on our experiences offered on the Visit.org platform 

  • Collaborate in all aspects of event production such as event hosts, calendar management, booking confirmations, and scheduling logistics 

  • Maintain feedback loop with cross-functional teams to provide insight and share suggestions on where improvements can be made 

  • Able to identify risks and come up with innovative solutions to ensure events are successful and completed as scheduled

  • Potential for local travel for nearby on-site events, if willing!


Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating and managing communications of multiple events and projects at once

  • Extremely organized and prides themselves on their attention to detail

  • Experience in event management, preferably with large-scale and complex events 

  • Background in customer success or in a client-facing role

  • Proficient with managing multiple calendars on Google Calendar or similar platform

  • Demonstrate a strong desire for growth or learning and keep up to date on industry and management trends

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment preferred

  • Passion for our mission and the desire to make an impact in the world through technology

  • Expert in problem solving and great at making decisions in fast-paced environments

  • Experience working within multiple teams 

  • Experience working within multiple event platforms and event management software

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus

Pay range of $40,000 to $50,000 DOE; however, pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A range of benefits may include bonus, equity, healthcare benefits, paid time off may be provided as part of the compensation package.
