Visit is looking for a passionate and ambitious Staff Accountant to join our remote team. The Staff Accountant will carry out consistent procedures, prepare and review financial information and handle billing processes including accounts receivable and accounts payable. The Staff Accountant must have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a start-up tech environment.

Assist with the development and maintenance of accounting systems for financial transactions.
Maintain the daily books for the company, including Revenue/Receivables, Expenses/Payables, Cash Management, and General Ledger.
Execute timely customer invoicing, address billing questions.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
Assist with monthly close process and preparation of financial reports.
Maintain relationships with key vendors.
Manage entire accounts payable lifecycle.
Prepare timely and error-free documentation that gives evidence of the Company’s financial information.
Provide accounting and financial support to management as needed.
Seek ways to streamline accounting processes.
Ad hoc financial analysis, as required.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting strongly preferred.
3+ years of Accounting experience.
2+ years of QuickBooks experience preferred.
Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving spirit.
Ability to communicate well internally and externally with clients/vendors.
Detail-oriented and able to efficiently manage multiple work efforts simultaneously.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, index/match, etc.).
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as with others at all levels within the company.
